You may want to choose a famous celebrity fro the advert so people will want to buy the product because they want to be like the celebrity. Your product will need a slogan, preferably a catchy slogan so that it will stay in people's minds.

2) How does an advert persuade people that they 'need" the product advertised?
The advert persuades people that they need the product being advertised by saying that the product is essential for your life. Also they advert will describe or show the product like there is nothing else it and that the product is the best you can buy.
